About These Samples:
This work represents a cross section of current rich media development projects. These projects have been selected to express a range of solutions; from simple scripting implementations that create impressive results to complex application development.

Project: Unbranded Video Mixer

Challenge: Create a skinnable web based application that allows users to create their own videos from supplied video and audio clips.

Solution: Developed this XML driven Flash application that allows advertisers to supply audio and video assets as well as a few simple skin elements such as a background image and colors for the UI controls. The application allows users to create, save and send creations via email as well as download audio and video clips to remix them on their own (for example in post-production software). Clients can review and approve created assets via a password protected content management system.

A live version of this application has generated over 1000 saved videos in three weeks and can be viewed on Gamespot.com.

Role: Flash, ActionScript, PHP and mySQL development.

Project: Hewlett-Packard CD Cover Creator

Challenge: The client wanted to integrate a branded game or tool into the content of mp3.com as a way to increase brand awareness.

Solution: Created and XML driven CD Cover Creator which allows users to create CD covers using pre-defined assets and print out a 300dpi CD cover. Users are required to save their CD covers to a gallery and any cover in the Gallery can be printed.

Role: Flash, ActionScript, PHP and mySQL development.

Project: Lowes Expand 300x250

Challenge: Sales team needs an "out of the box" ad that makes optimal use of rich media to facilitate brand engagement.

Solution: Developed this 300x250 rectangle (MPU) with expandable component that allows the user to "drill" into the page to reveal additional content and offers.

Role: Flash and ActionScript development.

Project: myM&Ms

Challenge: Client wanted to repurpose web site functionality in an ad unit to increase reach.

Solution: Developed this 300x250 rectangle (MPU) with expandable component that allows the user to create and preview custom M&Ms within the unit. Users can enter purchase quantity and are taken to the checkout page on mymms.com with all order information pre-populated.

Role: Flash and ActionScript development.

Project: Ford Fusion Expand 760x140

Challenge: Sales team wanted a banner ad that takes advantage of rich media to communicate the "Bold Moves" them for Ford Fusion.
